The Journey Continues:A quick update, June 29th

Even though Richard thought he could go back to work Monday I don't think he would have made it.  He is still running pretty cool though he has had 99.1 or 2 a few times.  He has started retaining fluid but the doctor said that if he would keep his legs elevated most of the time he would not put him on medicines for that.  The fellow called early yesterday morning to tell him that his potassium levels were very low and he had to take two pills right then and then two more two hours later.  He will have to do blood work again today.  He was told that his level was so low it could start causing heart problems.  Yesterday his right knee and up his leg was very swollen and hurting.  This morning it is down a bit but still hurts.  He does have an appointment to see the Doctor on Tuesday and he is also scheduled to go back to work Monday.  Hoping the weekend brings more relief to him!

Thanks for the prayers and encouragement!!

Philemon 1:7

New International Version (NIV)
Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the Lord’s people.
