The Journey Continues:Four days of no fever!!

Last Tuesday I thought Richard was in for a long stay in the hospital.  When he started out in ICU with septic shock, low blood pressure and of course the pneumonia I thought he would be there at least a full week or more.  He came home Saturday morning with instructions on when to call and what to do if certain things happen.

He has not ran a temperature since Thursday morning.  In fact his temperatures are running from 97.6 down to 95.5.  He is still coughing up the gunk that he needs to and still sleeping quite a lot but he can walk and breath at the same time.  The pneumonia still looked about the same on the ex-ray and there seems to be fluids gathering around his lungs.  He will be following up with more ex-rays and blood work.

He is glad to be home but is grateful that something was finally done to help him on the road to recovery.  He will not be able to return to work until July 2cd.  Thanks for the many, many prayers that have been going up in his behalf.  We are forever grateful!!!
