Slim Pickings From A Changed Mind

I have finally bit the bullet and started a blog.
I like to think that I am a writer and do have a children's book published but that doesn't make me a writer.  My skills at english certainly do not make me a writer.  You might see fragments, run ons and dangling participles, maybe even a word misspelled, but I do see they have spellcheck here so that might help.  Sometimes I do wonder to myself, "What makes me a writer?"
I have decided that a writer writes.  So I must write if I am to be a writer.
Today I think I will tell you about slim pickings from a changed mind.  Sometimes there is not much in my mind.  It is as blank as this page was before I started typing and sometimes there is so much there I could write and write and write.  Sometimes I might write something and you might read it and think oh my she doesn't know what she is talking about.  Well that will be a slim pickingsday.  I might write about family, friends, shoes or farmville.  You just never know what might seep or pop into my mind.
Now as for my mind, it is changing all the time.  My mind sometimes changes at the speed of lightning, sometimes at the speed of a snail and sometimes not at all.(Can't budge it if you try)
I do need to tell you that my mind was once lost but now is found and that is what drives who I am.
Talk to you soon and I might write about shoes but I might change my mind.

  2. lol...Brenda, I love it and love that I can read what's going on it that head of yours. ;) My goodness, I didn't know we were so much alike thoughtwise. I've thought about starting a blog too, but would probably be very boring. I did blogs on my other social networking sites but quit when I got to FB. I bet this is the longest comment you get. Keep posting!
